SEC Football - Week 11 Preview and Predictions. Nick Saban and his number 1 ranked Crimson Tide travel to Baton Rogue on Saturday 8 November in one of the SEC Football headlines this weekend. Reviews and predictions of all SEC action for week 11.
Similar to past seasons, the SEC is one of the strongest conferences in the country. An increase from last week, there are six teams teams (Alabama (Ap#1), Georgia (Ap#14), and Florida(Ap#4), LSU, (AP#19), , South Carolina, and Kentucky) bowl eligible with two on the cusp (Vandy and Ole Miss). Auburn and Arkansas are long shots to go bowling with 4-5 records, and Mississippi State and Tennessee have to win-out the remainder of their games to hit .500 and bowl eligibility (3-6 records for each team).
Entering SEC Football week 11, the top two SEC teams (Alabama and Florida) are still in the mix for the national title, with Alabama leading the way as the number one team across all polls in the country. Both Alabama and Florida can clinch their respective division with a victory this Saturday. One of the hottest football games in play this weekend is Nick Saban's return to Baton Rogue this Saturday with the Crimson Tide travels to take on LSU.

Conference Match ups
1 - The LSU Tigers (3-2, 6-2) host the nation's number 1 team, the Alabama Crimson Tide (6-0, 9-0) in Baton Rogue. This is Nick Saban's first game back at LSU. Alabama is coming off of a non-conference victory against Arkansas State. The tigers are also coming off of a non-conference win over Tulane. LSU must win this game to have an outside shot at the SEC West Division championship, while Alabama can clinch the West with a victory over the Tigers. LSU has won the past five games between these two teams. Alabama is favored to win this game by three points. Our pick - Alabama will continue to make their case for the national title and win by six.
2. The Georgia Bulldogs (4-2, 7-2) travel to Lexington to face the Kentucky Wildcats (2-3, 6-3). This is a must-win game for the Bulldogs to have an opportunity at an upper-tier bowl game. The Wildcats last beat Georgia at home in 2020 and need this victory to upgrade their 'bowling' opportunities. Georgia is now favored to win this game by 11 points. Our pick - Georgia will win, but it will be a lot closer than expected. Expect to see Georgia win, but only by four to six points.
3. The Arkansas Razorbacks (1-4, 4-5) continued their 16 game winning streak over then-undefeated Tulsa last week and travel to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks (3-3, 6-3) on Saturday. South Carolina is coming off of a strong victory over Tennessee, and is looking to improve their bowl position. Arkansas is in a must-win situation to realistically qualify for a bowl with closing out the season against Mississippi State and LSU. The Gamecocks are favored to win the game by 12 points. Our pick - South Carolina wins by 14.
4. The surging Florida Gators (4-1, 6-1) travel to Vanderbilt (3-2, 5-3). After defeating Georgia at home by a large margin, Tim Tebow and the Gators are 24 point favorites over Vanderbilt. The Commodores are trying to overcome a mid-season slump after starting out 5-0 and becoming ranked nationally. Bowl eligibility is on the line for Vandy, but our pick is Florida to win by 28 points for the Commodores fourth loss in a row.
Non-Conference Play:
1 - The Auburn Tigers (2-4, 4-5) host the Tennessee Martin (7-2) Skyhawks on Saturday. Auburn will attempt to break a four game losing streak against the Skyhawks to have an outside shot at bowl eligibility. Auburn closes the season out against Georgia and Alabama, so this is a must-win for the Tigers to even have an opportunity for post-season play! The Tigers are 25 point favorites. Our pick - The Tigers will win, but it will be by 17 points as they take a while to re-gain confidence in this game.
2. The Tennessee Volunteers (1-5, 3-6) host the Wyoming Cowboys (3-6) on Saturday. The Volunteers are 27 point favorites but are playing with the knowledge that head coach Phillip Fulmer is being forced to step down at the end of the season. The Volunteers could still obtain bowl eligibility if they win the remaining three games of the season (Vandy and Kentucky are the remaining two games). Not beyond the possible for the Vols of 2020...for the Vols of 2020, however, this may not be achievable. Prediction for the Wyoming game - Tennessee wins by 21 points.
Idle: Mississippi State ( 1-4, 3-6). Travel to Alabama on November 15th.
