Battlefield Bad Company 2 for PS3 is one of the best first-person shooting game to ever hit stores.
The first thing you will notice when starting up a session is a comprehensive menu that allows you to join specific games and check the status of achievements. In this, you will find a helpful overview of all weapons and items. This is where you can see which items are locked and which ones you have yet to access. You can also view awards, tallies, and up-to-date rankings.
In the last game, I found it frustrating to spawn in an allotted local every time you join a game. In BF2, you can choose a feature to spawn near a team mate. This helps keep the action fast paced and evolving. Because of this simple advancement, you never suffer from the boredom of traveling across large maps to try and get where you need to be.
The graphic mastery of these games is unbelievable. The visuals are intensely eye catching. Expect piercing visuals involving Eastern European mountainous backdrops and incredibly sharp troop finesse and flexibility. If you have young kids that hope to take a crack at this game, you may want to use caution. Although the earlier game insinuated violence and bloodshed, BF2 displays these aspects of the game in thorough detail. Knifing, point blank range shots, explosions and other forms of bodily harm look extremely life-like.
The revolution in destructive realism began with the first version of the game. Clawing down trees with vehicles and exploding your way through any erected wall proved to be no difficult task. BF2 has taken demolition to entirely new lengths. You can actually level entire buildings with minimal work. As in actual combat, war machines are monstrous killing devices. Nothing conveys this truth any better than this game.
I can't get enough of the outrageous slaughter fest in multi-player games. You will be entertained for hours. The game is hugely popular. Because it has been so widely accepted, you are sure to find tons of active servers at any time. If you are new to the game, learning to move about and aim is really easy to feel out. Within a few minutes, you will have the hang of the interactive controlling and be well equipped to stand your ground.
Expect new graphics, better looking interfaces (even customizable), and new vehicles. Battlefield Bad Company 2 will glue you to the sofa!
